Sidepiece is the musical side-hustle of Wren from Vixens of Fall and her partner-in-crime Ellen.These passionate performers bring their festival energy and cheeky charisma to neighbourhood venues and small-medium events in the Southeast Queensland region.

About Us

Sidepiece is Adrienne 'Wren' Whitehouse and Ellen Hartwig. Best known for their work in touring country-rock act Vixens of Fall, Wren and Ellen are partners in music and life and are never far from the stage.Wren is a born performer, with 25 years under her belt in dance and musical theatre, and 10 years experience as a frontwoman with Vixens of Fall. Entertainment is second nature to Wren, and you don't want to miss a chance to see her light up a room with her strong vocals and quick wit.Ellen is a self-proclaimed musical multi-tool with 15+ years of performance and sound experience, and can be found playing for acts such as Vixens of Fall, Anti Music Music Club and Chloe Marks & The Mayhem; as well as mixing and booking gigs across the Brisbane CBD and Valley entertainment precincts.

Formats & Flavours

While our typical setup is a duo (guitar/stomp & vocals/percussion) we are able to expand to larger formats by calling on the trusted musicians in our festival circle. We can easily add keys, drums and/or bass to suit different venues, budgets and events as needed.Nothing is out of the question - just let us know what you need! We have PA and lighting suitable for up to a 6pce act.
